| What we do | How we can help you |
The education department provides support to local conferences, elementary schools and academies across the Southwestern Union. In addition to providing continuing education opportunities for teachers, the union education personnel are actively involved in classroom visitation, school evaluations, and ongoing curriculum development in conjunction with the North American Division education office. This office handles teacher certification for all of our teachers, accreditation for our schools, and provides resources to churches and schools to help them promote the value of Adventist Education.
